We’re heading out, hitting the road, high tailing it across the West. Slowly.
Me and three horses. From a ranch in northern California. To, well, we’ll see.
I don’t know how far we’ll get.
I don’t know how long we’ll be.
But sometime soon, we’re heading out.
Out there, on an inward journey.
An adventure of the soul.
And so this, my friend, this shall be a travel log of sort. Not about where I’m going, but about where I am. Sharing the view along the way. Because with everything we do, with all of life and living, sharing makes it somehow sweeter. And sharing is what I need to do on this otherwise solo journey – me, and three horses – my partners, co-workers, companions and friends. Born into and trained with these hands, weathered and worn. Two decades of living and working together in the high mountain that we are riding towards. Over these years, they taught me as much as I them, as we grew, together. On this journey, along the way, no doubt we will continue to do the same.
And so we’re gearing up. To be out there. To experience the open road with my horses. To fall in love with my horses, the West, and life all over again.
